TIMER'S REPORT

 INTRODUCTION 

In Gavels, effective time management is essential for clear and impactful communication. The timer's is to track the time for each segment of the meeting and provide signals to help speakers know how much time they have left. This ensures that our meeting runs smoothly and on schedule."

How the Timing Works


Prepared Speeches:

  • P1 Speech: The time limit is 4 to 6 minutes.I will flash the green card at 4 minutes, the yellow card at 5 minutes, and the red card at 6 minutes, with a 30-second grace period to conclude.

  • P2 to P9 Speeches: The time limit is 5 to 7 minutes. I will flash the green card at 5 minutes, the yellow card at 6 minutes, and the red card at 7 minutes, with a 30-second grace period to wrap up.

  • P10 Speech: The time limit is 8 to 10 minutes. I will flash the green card at 8 minutes, the yellow card at 9 minutes, and the red card at 10 minutes, with a 30-second grace period to finish."

Table Topics:

For the Table Topic Session, the time limit is 1 to 2 minutes.

At the end of 1 minute, I will flash the green card, followed by the yellow card at 1 minute 30 seconds and the red card at 2 minutes, with a 30-second grace period.

Speech Evaluations:

For the Speech Evaluations, the time limit is 2 to 3 minutes.

At the end of 2 minutes, I will flash the green card, followed by the yellow card at 2 minutes 30 seconds and the red card at 3 minutes, with a 30-second grace period."
